FUNCTIONS OF MEDICAL EDUCATION CENTER

Medical Education Center will have following functions:

Training of teaching staff of the medical Universitys in the field of Medical Educational Sciences.
Development of Medical Education Sciences Technology.
Research in the field of Medical Educational Sciences.
Production of Medical Educational Materials in the forms of Paper publications, Audiovisual Tapes and Cds.
Development and Administration of Local Area Net and Wide Area Net.

Conference Rooms will be capable doing:

Lectures with Multimedia facilities connected with LAN and WAN.
Viewing the operations and clinical teaching of the Hospitals.
Teleconferences within Yangon, with Districts and in future with international institutions.

LAN & WAN:

In  line with the development of national and global telenetworking system this Medical Education Center will contribute Medical and Health Information into the system.
